We have a start! Now we need to keep moving forward, quickly but not hurriedly. Do it right the first time. Remember our two primary team rules: 1 - Be nice. 2 - Don't be stupid.
Slowly at first, the robot starts to take shape. Each step and element needs to very carefully thought out. Each step is an opportunity for learning.
The programming team consists of two veterans working with the programming mentor. This year we have a lot of lines of code to write: approximately 4000-5000 lines.
The build team consists of our only Senior this year and four rookies. They may be young but they are fired up and eager to learn.

While our robot is being built, the programmers need a robot on which to test their code. One of our older robots is updated with current tech to serve as a test bed until the build team completes the competition robot.
